The thing that really sets this one apart is the art. It has almost unparalleled action sequences, a solid storyline that has most of the usual leveling up/tower climbing tropes. It has almost everything you would expect, and a little more on top of that. On a op mc manhwa splurge? If so, this one definitely won't be a disappointment. I highly recommend this to anyone who wants to read something after solo leveling. I've reread this manhwa 2 times and show no signs of stopping any time soon. The goblin is a character that is handled very differently from cliches and is a breath of fresh air. A lot of them fall under the various cliches they are known for but it is handled really well and keeps the reader very entertained. Character designs are my only small complaint because some major characters have very bland designs.Īll the characters are very well written including The action paneling flows very well and is very easy to process. The premise is different from others in the same realm by choosing not to go the 'being reborn' route.Īrt is absolutely phenomenal with the various vibrant and detailed backgrounds/monsters/weapons/items, etc. The lore is nicely developed and so is the worldbuilding. The story has a clear goal that the mc starts to follow from the 1st chapter. So stay tuned with Recent Highlights. One of my favorites in the 'op revenge-driven mc' genre of manhwa. Maybe, when Second Life Ranker hits the 200-chapter mark in June 2023, the anime adaptation will be announced. The web novel has been translated by Wuxiaworld and the manhwa is serialized by Kakao Corp, which gives it an immense boost to be on top of the list of animes to be adapted. The story has a good realistic feel to it which helps in getting immersed into it. Second Life Ranker can serve as one of the starting animes to mark this genre. Stories with leveling systems have always been around in web novels and comics but they will also be a massive hit when it gets adapted into anime. Second Life Ranker definitely has a good potential as a story to get an anime. The story has a gradual progression of exploring various themes, including romance, so situations and events do not seem rushed. Surely there is a long way to go until the whole story is serialized. The manhwa, Second Life Ranker as of now has 136 chapters serialized. As the story is completed, it’s easier to devise a story by taking out parts that may not seem good for adaptation. This makes for a perfect story to be adapted into 24-episode anime. The second Life Ranker web novel has 800 chapters divided into 32 volumes and 62 extra chapters after the ending of the main story. Currently, on June 2022, the web novel came to an end with 862 chapters.
